The front glass door gets very hot even when toasting on medium so be careful. Cooking always makes things get hot... it is the nature of cooking. So you have to use caution and make sure you don't leave it on the "stay on" mode. I like it .. it works for me though I am sure there are better ones on the market. Do your research.

The difference between "dark" and "light" is 2mm. It is impossible to get it right. There is a dangerous "stay on" function right next to the off function, so if you are not careful and turn past the "off" function, you can actually burn down your house. The door does not close unless you separately push the red hot tray inside. Risk of injury-very high. Can't believe that they put this on the market!
