This product is a great value for the money, fast, and easy to use. Our family has tried other home snow cone makers and NONE of them could begin to equal this one. It is simple to set up and makes a decent size snow cone in under 30 seconds!The ice just shoots out of the opening unbelievably quick directly into the cup. We recommend styrofoam cups because these keep the ice from melting quickly. Just open and invert the whole thing to drain/dry it until the next use. We would recommend this product highly and we are glad we found it on Amazon.com.

This little appliance worked great at first, then after several uses I started noticing a BAD sound coming from it. Starting and stopping a lot seemed to help. After about the 8th time the kids and I used it, the thing became worthless. We didn't overload with ice, and I even tried using crushed ice from our freezer hoping that would lessen the burden. But it didn't help.
Today we're throwing it away. I really hoped it would lasted longer than that. I would not recommend buying it.

We have had one of these machines for two years. Use a couple times a week in winter, several times a week in summer. Creates the right "snow" consistency for a perfect ice dessert. Great with flavored syrup or alcholic drink mix. Have been very happy with it.

This snow cone machine is FANTASTIC!
We had the old style carnival machine forever and it took half an hour to fill up the tray. This thing spits out ice like it's making a new ski slope! You can literally fill up your adult sized cup and have it syruped, cleaned, and ready to go in about 15 seconds if your syrup is standing by.
And the ice is good little chunks too, not those overly large bits that look like they should have come out of your refrigerator door.
All in all we only had one problem with it. The ice-holding container could have been a bit bigger, but I suppose it would have clogged more if it was as the ice re-froze inside.
Oh well. We're happy.
