Slim Smoothie Review November 23, 2008 J. Rogers (NY) Great book with lots of healthy delicious recipes with ingredients that are readily available. Quick and healthy alternatives to "meals on the go" at any time!
Good low cal recipes -- once you get past the "cutsie" names and descriptions. November 18, 2008 Gypsy Lady (Butler, PA USA) The recipes are easy, require ingredients easy to find in your supermarket and the additional information provided is interesting. Most importantly, the Smoothies are tasty. On a minor note - I found the "cutsie" names and descriptions unwitty and distracting.
OK May 30, 2008 Amy Wolfe (Glenwood Springs, CO) Noty the best book,,, has some weight loss recipe where you use TOFU,,, but nothing to exciting,,,, LOOK up on the net for good recipes

Great recipes. I was just hoping for more that had just ice, fruits and fruit juices rather than yogurt.
great smoothie recipes February 20, 2007 Karen Anderson (NW Arkansas, USA) 19 out of 19 found this review helpful
I reviewed a lot of smoothie recipe books before purchasing this one, based on its reviews. It has an amazing number of delicious recipes that don't require a lot of extravagant or hard-to-find ingredients, and that's important. If you can't find the ingredients in a recipe or they become too costly, you likely will not get much use out of a recipe, but that's not the case here. There's a wonderful variety of recipes that are highly nutritious and they sound absolutely delicious too. I recommend this book to anyone as a great introduction to smoothie making.
