Nice Griddle~Great For Breakfasts November 16, 2008 Jerry Anderson (Yankton, SD) This is just a dandy griddle and have not one complaint with it! Love it for whipping up a good breakfast of bacon, eggs and pancakes! My girlfriend can fry up a pound of bacon with room to spare, flip out the handles and the fat just drains right off into the drip pan! Push the handles back in and its ready for your eggs and cakes! Cakes and Eggs stay in place and do not run allover the place! As with any griddle, it does not allways fit in the sink for cleaning, so a little patience is needed here and I believe it is also dishwasher safe if you want to go that route! A nice product!!!!!
Nice Grill, Easy Clean Up August 31, 2008 Rockin Robin (Tucson, AZ) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We use this grill almost every morning to cook breakfast, usually hash browns and eggs, bacon and pancakes. The size of the grill is perfect (square being better than long and narrow) The coating on this grill is really great and clean up is just a wipe it off with a wet towel and it's ready to go. I personally didn't like the pull out tilt'N drain feature after using the grill. The edges do stay cool. My wife loves the grill. Looked at this grill at Walmart (29.95) the day before my grill shipped but was in no hurry for it. Amazon's price was fine with me. I would recommend this grill and brand to anyone.
Love it. August 26, 2008 Reta Sparr (North Carolina) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a wonderful griddle. I love it. I would order it again and give as a gift.
This is a very good griddle. June 25, 2008 Mark H. Lopatka (Chicago) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This griddle is BIG, which is what I wanted. If you want a big griddle, this is it. Keep in mind, the size makes it difficult to clean. It does not fit in my sink, so water often drips on the floor (without me knowing) when I clean it. However, this is not a problem with the griddle, just something to be aware of. Unfortunately, the surface does not heat evenly, nor does the thermostat appear to be accurate. The middle of the griddle is about 15 F warmer than the setting on the thermostat while the sides were 50 F warmer, as measured with an IR thermometer. This is the only design flaw. The griddle is level! Pancakes, scrambled eggs, and any other items that flow will stay where you put them. Other griddles are permanently tilted to allow grease to drain. This unit will tilt when you need it to drain (when cooking bacon for example), but stay level when you want it level. The size is great, and I have not found anything that comes close to this. Without a doubt, I would purchase this again.
Perfect! June 20, 2008 S. Copeland (Arkansas) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have only owned this a week, but have used it for pancakes, toast, grilled sandwiches, and burgers within this one week. The warm-up time is short and the food cooks so evenly and quickly! I love having such a large area to work on!
