I bought it as a birthday present for my husband because it reminded me of the original ones but more beautiful. He refuses to use it, preferring his small hand juicer that cost around $2 and leaves in the pulp which he likes. In order to get any juice, you have to be super strong and when you apply the pressure needed, it starts to slip around the counter. I tried to return but the vendor would not take it back because it was past the deadline (I could not return it earlier as I did not use it until after my husband's birthday). So now it sits on the counter a piece of red sculpture because as a juicer it is totally useless. Meanwhile I will look for an authentic antique juicer!
