Product Description JUICE EXTRACTOR ATTACHMENT Drink to Your Good Health with Non-Citrus Fruit and Vegetable Juices Made in Minutes. Juicing set greatly expands your food processor's possible uses Sturdy stainless steel and hard plastic construction Strainer, feed tube extender, and pusher work with any 11-cup KitchenAid food processor All parts dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning
Amazon.com Review Forget expensive juice bars (how can 12 ounces of banana-orange-strawberry possibly cost $3.50?) and fit this juice extractor attachment into your KitchenAid food processor. Now, surrounded by the comforts of home, fresh fruit and veggie juices are available as fancy or as simple as you like. Just place the strainer in the work bowl, cover, and fit the feed tube extender in the feed tube. Fill the feed tube with any favorite fruit/veggie combination (mine is kiwi, cranberry, and lime) and press down with the pusher while pulsing. When done, remove the strainer and pour the juice into a tall chilled glass. Drink right away for the maximum vitamin content. --Dana Van Nest

If you have an 11-cup KA processor, BUY THIS! November 29, 2007 Scrabble Aficionada 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I should qualify my 5 stars, because there's not a juice extractor on this planet that is perfect -- they all have pros and cons. But the price, quality and convenience of this one makes it a winner. This juicer is similar to, and just as good as, the original Acme/Omega juicers. Sure, the yield on leafy greens isn't the best, but it does carrots, beets & celery as well an any other juicer -- and quickly, too. The yield is far better than the extractors that spit out the pulp right away. I've been juicing on-and-off for the last decade, and I like that the parts for this juicer store easily while the food processor stays on my counter. BTW, if the juicer starts to rattle or spin, adding another carrot firmly will usually solve the problem.
For those with 9 cup food processors... February 2, 2007 Kyle J. Wallace (Austin, TX USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
The juice extractor does FIT the 9 cup fp, as Kitchenaid says, however, it doesn't actually WORK with it. The attachment sits in the bowl just as it should, it spins around, but the food pusher does not reach down far enough to actually make juice out of your veggies. Whatever you drop in will simply go straight through without scraping the bottom, as Kitchenaid says it should, and then spin around like mad without making juice. I spoke with Kitchenaid a couple of times and I am sending it back. I even tried putting in larger chunks but it just won't hold them in place because the pusher and tube extender are not long enough. I also tried a wooden spoon for a pusher but it didn't help due to the shortness of the tube. Bottom line, no matter how bad you want this extractor, like I did, don't get it for a 9 cup processor.
It works. December 5, 2006 dizhu It is very easy to use and works surprisingly well. I made apple juice today (with skin on) and it tastes among the best I had. Now let me hope it is easier to digest than bottled juice.
Great product if ... March 25, 2006 NuJoi (Chicago, IL United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Let me start by saying I bought this almost a year ago and used it for the first time today. I could kick myself for waiting so long! I think this is a fabulous accessory. I can now enjoy my apple-carrot mix at a fraction of the cost I usually pay for a cup of juice. This attachment is perfect for me a a great product overall if you are an occasional to moderate juice and/or are strapped for counter space. If you are a serious juicer, this may not have enough capacity or power for you. (Since everything sits in the workbowl, you only have so much space before the juice touches the pulp. I think you can get at least two, maybe three cups of liquid in before this happens.) Also I was intrigued by a previous reviewer's comment about using the pulp for something else. Whenever I've used a real juicer, the pulp is so dry that it is absolutely flavorless useless. The pulp in this attachment is damp, so you're not getting all of the juice out of the items. However, with an attachment versus a juicer, you have to be willing to accept tradeoffs. What I did enjoy was the lower amount of froth in the juice with this product versus a juicer. I found clean up really easy. I rinsed the pulp out, ran a bottle brush over it a few times and tossed it in the diswasher. The only negative for me is that the appliance eventually started to walk across the counter. Since it was my first time using the attchment, I admit it could have been something I did wrong.
FANTASTIC February 7, 2006 C. Francisco (Seatac, WA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Can't get your child to eat his/her veggies? This juicer is your answer! It works perfectly with 9 cup food processor. Juice veggies for your baby too. Nothing like fresh juice and knowing there isn't anything un-natural in it. Easy to use and easy to clean. Wouldn't use anything else.
