I bought this product to keep at work so that I could have hot meals. It fits perfectly on the shelf and I have been saving money by using it instead of ordering out. Great value for the price.

This toster is nice. Oven works well and "toasting" part too. Doesn't have a "dinger" for when the toast is done, but other than that, it's great.

Just a year old and one of the toaster elements went out 2 days ago so I'm on here looking for a new oven AND a new toaster this time. Each slice only toasts on one side now. Oven still works. Slow to toast - one side darker than the other regardless of whether you toast via the oven or the toaster. My last toaster/oven lasted for over 10 years. This Avanti felt rather cheap when I got it and it certainly didn't last very long.

I love the idea of this unit - however - six months after purchase, one of the toaster heating element died and I was only able to toast on one side. I contacted Avanti and their rep told me that this was how it was supposed to work. After arguing, he finally agreed to honor the warranty and send me a new unit. The new unit worked great for another six months and then developed the exact same problem - the same heating element died. I called again and was told that my one year warranty was expired. I do not toast often or dark (perhaps 6 light slices a week) however even if I did, I would expect a toaster to work well for many years. This product is a loser.

Good toaster oven but don't be fooled by the separate toater part. It takes so long you could make toast in the oven part faster. Avanti has replaced this once for us when an element was out after only 4 mo. Good company- bad product.
