I bought this little oven at an estate sale today for the low low price of $18.00 which was about 10 dollars to much I think. I got it to help hatch chickens from the eggs out of our barn. I put 6 eggs in the oven and turned it to the lowest setting and left for a couple of hours. When I got back from the bar I heard screaming coming from the oven and by the time I got into the kitchen all the baby chikens had exploded. Don't buy this oven if you like little chickies

Our Black and Decker died and we needed a new toaster oven. I was a little bit concerned after reading some of the other reviews on this model, but we ended up purchasing it because we could get it really cheap. I looked at the Cuisinart but it cost twice as much and still was reported to have problems. The Krups, which everyone seemed to love, cost four times as much and took up way more counter space.
This model is a little bit smaller than the Cuisinart or the Krups, which I liked. However, it is bigger than the Black and Decker, so you can fit an 8 inch square pan inside. This is nice for baking. So far I have cooked cookies, brownies, and biscuits in the toaster oven with good results.
It does have some cons. It does get very hot, so it needs to be away from other things when it is hot. Also, it is not very strong in the toasting department. If toast is a big deal to you, this might not be a good choice for you.
I chose four stars over three since I liked the price and the relatively small counter footprint.

The door on our last Black and Decker Toaster Oven wouldn't stay closed, so we were in the market for a new one. I hadn't been thrilled with my last two ovens (both B & D) so I decided to check out other "low priced" brands. I could get this Euro Pro for a great price at KMart, and decided to check out customer reviews before purchasing it. The reviews were pretty mixed and I almost didn't buy it. But the price, size, features, and "look" was right, so I bought it anyway. Boy am I glad I did.
This toaster oven is GREAT. Contrary to MANY other reviews, bread DOES NOT take a long time to toast in this oven. One read through the instructions tells you that you must have the TEMP setting at its highest level in order to get the best toasting results. I can only believe that customers who complained about the toasting ability have either NOT read the instructions OR are writing about a different model (like one reviewer who complained about the convection feature--this model is not a convection oven!).
We use this great little oven for small baking needs, toasting, etc, and have been VERY happy. It looks great on the counter, is VERY easy to clean, has 2 wire racks and a baking tray, and runs much cooler than my previous TO's (both Black & Decker).
I highly recommend this great oven.

Nice looking - and probably does a decent job on baking and such... however, I dont plan on keeping it long enough to find out. It takes a LONG time to heat up and lightly toast a single piece of bread. I was upgrading from my old Black and Decker which only had 1 shelf - thinking I could cook more toast faster with 2 shelves..... I was wrong. It would take less time to toast 2 seperate batches with my old toaster oven then it takes to do a single piece of toast - light - in this one. It's going back today... I miss my black and decker!

I was very disappointed in this. It does not heat as well as ny last toasteroven and so cooks alot slower. cleaning is easier but cooking is what you want one for. looks nice but cooks slow
