Product Description This microwavable bacon cooker lets the grease and fat drip off the bacon as it cooks. It lets you cook more bacon at the same time and at a faster rate. Cool-touch handle makes removing Make'n Bacon safe, while the drip pan lets you pour out unwanted f

Functional and great at minimizing grease November 3, 2008 T. Maldonado Marchok (Mountain View, CA) I bought this product in Target several years ago. I love that you suspend the bacon and the fat just drips off in the receptacle below. I had a problem with the "T" inserts though. 2 of them broke when trying to pull them out. With one, the base of the "T" broke off and remained in the hole so that slot was unusable. With that said, when I went online to buy a new one, I compared what was out there. I still think it's one of the best products on the market for bacon so I recently purchased another one through amazon. To my delight, my 8 y/o son has learned to use it safely and independently. When we're done cooking with it, we turn it upside down on top of the garbage so the fat drips off directly in there and doesn't congeal in the sink.
Bacon Done Right October 16, 2008 Patricia L. Brown Bacon comes out perfectly with the grease in the bottom. Easy cleanup without all the paper towels.
Cameron Cookware Mak'n Bacon September 13, 2008 Alfred Boyd (Chesapeake, VA) This is an amazing cookware invented by a young girl. This is the second one I have purchased and it really does the job cooking bacon. Don't know what I would do without it. Excellent product and highly recommended to others that are looking for a good way to cook bacon.
It's okay - glad I got it September 6, 2008 L. Sliker (W-B, Pa) It's a decent product. We're bacon eaters, so it's much easier than frying or turning on the oven. Bacon does stick together at the ends when it's cooking, so you have bacon 'circles' when it's time to eat. Much easier clean up than traditional frying/broiling methods.
sure beats the frying pan ! July 6, 2008 David Rowe (beautiful east Texas) Mak'n Bacon is a good product which works as expected. cooking is much faster, taste about the same, and clean-up a lot quicker than if using a frying pan. with my 1000w microwave, i make 4-6 slices in 2-3 minutes. with a paper towel covering, oven splatter is minimal, and washing the unit is easy, though some drippings need persuasion. i still prefer microwave cooking between doubled paper towels as compared to Mak'n Bacon, as the former gives nice flat pieces (great for BLTs !) and even less fat. otoh, timing is more critical there unless you enjoy paper fibers with your bacon. nits : the hanger parts are a small pain to keep track of, in the drawer or in the dishwasher. instructions embossed on the back of the unit are hard to read; black plastic might work better for that. i like it !
