This Asparagus Pasta Steamer 3 Quart Set in Stainless by MIU France holds the asparagus upright to avoid overcooking. The removable wire basket makes draining the asparagus an easy task. Simply lift the basket of asparagus from the hot water when the asparagus is finished cooking and the water drains back into the pot. The pot can be used for cooking other vegetables, such as carrots. It is made from highly durable 18/10 stainless and features a polished exterior surface and a tempered glass lid. The mesh basket insert is made from stainless and has a fold down handle. It has two rivet cast stainless side handles for easy lifting and the lid features a cast stainless handle. The bottom is tri-ply metal which is aluminum sandwiched in between two layers of stainless for even heat distribution and durability.
