I've needed a small crockpot for so long, and this filled the bill just perfectly! It's perfect for hot dips, baked beans, small portions of soup, etc. And it's so adorable!

The bean pot/slow cooker I received had a solid brown bean pot and black flat electric base. That actually made me very happy. I've used the electric pot twice. The first time I prepared one of the recipes included in the instruction manual and was delighted with the ease of preparation and the resulting dish. The second time I made my long endeared baked bean recipe. My daughter and her family were in middle of a move. To ease her load, I told her I'd prepare dinner for them the following night. With a busy day ahead, I decided I'd try preparing the beans that night, allowing them to cook while I slept. In the morning I had a pot of delicious perfectly slow cooked "baked beans". I placed the pot directly into my refrigerator to preserve the beans for dinner that evening. It was all so easy. I'm sure that any slow cooker could do same, but I love the nostalgic bean pot combined with modern convenience.

Bean pot is great! Beans taste better and pot does not heat up the kitchen!
