Product Description Powered by a 650-watt heating element, this waffle maker bakes plate-size, 7-inch, two-section waffles quickly and easily. An automatic thermostat controls the temperature, while convenient ready lights signal when the waffler is ready for the batter and again when the waffle is cooked just right, so there's no guesswork involved. MasterCoat non-stick grids make for easy clean up, as does its easy-clean hinge. The wafflers cool-touch exterior provides added safety, and for convenient storage, the whole unit stands on end. This contemporary-style waffler, with a polished-chrome top,

heavy waffles November 9, 2008 buyer bill (TN) I bought this to replace an older model which worked well for ten years. I was shocked to find that the cooking surface area had been reduced by 74% !! This was done by reducing the size of the teeth from approx. 10 mm x 10 mm to 6 mm x 6 mm. This results in slower cooking (it took 10 minutes to get one set of two baked ... it used to take 3 min) ) and a heavier, less enjoyable waffle. I expect the mfgr saved a lot in reduced material costs. I feel like the victim of a "gotcha".
works well, small March 9, 2007 Sharon N. Akasaka Worked well, too small for a family... you'd be cooking waffles all day at two at a time!
Crisp and Golden January 24, 2007 Jewels (USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My Toastmaster Waffler makes the perfact waffles. The waffles toast up and get crispy and golden brown. It's an excellent choice for a waffle maker. Anyone will be very pleased to own A Toastmaster Waffler. Clean up is a snap. You just take a damp rag and wipe and you're done. I just love mine and I'm very pleased with it. Thank You for making such a GREAT machine.
Stopped working after one year October 11, 2006 A. Gauthier (Sterling Heights, Michigan United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I got this as a gift for my wedding a year ago. It worked excellently for a year, then one day, I went to turn it on and NOTHING - not even an attempt at lighting up or working in any way. So it just stopped working for no reason. It was too bad because when it worked, it made great waffles, and it was nice to be able to make two at a time, so my husband and I could both eat, instead of waiting for another one to cook up before sitting down together.
Lots of fun December 28, 2005 John A. Radi (Washington, DC United States) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
We've owned this one for years now. We're not major waffle makers, but every now and then on a lazy sunday it's fun to whip this one out. I'm thinking of getting another one so I can whip up 4 waffles at a time, I'd recommend getting the larger one right off the bat... The only problem I've had is the little catch broke which holds it shut when stored - hasn't been a problem, still works like a champ and it's cheap... You can use pancake mix, waffle mix or bisquick. And like the other reviewer said - 3 min light waffle, or 5 min crispy... I also don't use very much oil - just spray a little pam to start and it's good for the rest of the batch...
