This sucker is heavier than it appears! November 21, 2008 Zaine Ridling 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As you've read tips from others, this press has many uses depending on how creative you are. I'm impressed by how heavy it is, far more than it appears from its size. And it's larger than it looks in the picture. You'll only have to buy one in a lifetime, so feed that impulse and buy it.
Great addition! August 17, 2008 Timothy Wudarski (san francisco, ca USA) A great addition to my kitchen, this grill press is heavy enough to work as advertised, but small enough to handle easily. Works MUCh better than the foil-covered brick I've been using!
Great Product March 30, 2008 Sonya Bass Jacobs (rural GA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Everything I expected. Heavy, functional. The review about difficult assembly made me a little hesitant before purchasing; however, assembling the handle can be accomplished easily in less than a minute. I've even used it like a paperweight on some "almost permenantly rolled up" newspapers to help them lie flat. Still, its best use is for the really thick slices of bacon that come from the local butcher, as intended. Cast iron is a great cooking tool as far as I'm concerned.
Real Nice November 22, 2007 Charles D. Harrell (Moss Point, Ms.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Handy to use. Could have been designed better so that food would not get trapped in screw area where handle attaches.
Great Panini Press November 13, 2007 J. Schrank (Greenville, WI USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Does a great job as a medium heavy press. Just remember to preheat and you won't have to flip!
