Amazon.com Review Treat your special wine collection to the premier choice for wine cellars around the world. Vinotemp wine cellars are handmade in wood in Rancho Dominguez, California and feature 13/4-inch-thick walls filled with rigid insulation by Celotex, along with a vapor barrier on each side to keep the cold air in and the hot air out. For aging wines gracefully, simply set the temperature from 55 to 58 degrees F. (Wines will age faster at higher temperature, but Vinotemp recommends 55 degrees F in general for both red and white.) The Vinotemp TC32GW 32-bottle wine cellar comes with durable individual racks and a convenient interior light for proudly showcasing or easily viewing a collection. This wine cellar is nice-looking as a free-standing unit, but to save space, it is built with a front exhaust system, so it can easily be built-in under the counter, fitting into the same amount of space a trash compactor would take up. The total unit measures just 15 by 23 by 34-3/4 inches. --Catie Unger

Vinotemp - Not worth the low price August 14, 2008 Delta Mike (San Francisco, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I would not buy another Vinotemp. I have been disappointed from day 1 -it's too noisy for a kitchen and the temperature fluctuates at least 10 degrees day to day. It seams to have a mind of its own deciding what temperature to stay at. I don't mean between the top and bottom, the thermometer I'm using to check its accuracy is in the middle and doesn't get moved. I've called them and their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Spend the extra $$$ and get a quality wine fridge - you'll be much happier in the long run. Delta Mike
Nice-looking, could be colder August 13, 2008 H. Rhoades (Santa Monica, CA) We purchased this to replace an ugly, broken trash compacter in a kitchen where we were upgrading the other appliances. It fits perfectly in the space left by the compacter (with a little wood trim around the edges for a finished look) and looks very clean and classy. In terms of a cosmetic upgrade, this is a great choice, but it's single temperature setting (meant for both red and white) leaves a little to be desired. The white wine often needs a little bit of time in the fridge before drinking, while the red should sit out for a few minutes to warm up. Also, larger bottles, such as some champagnes, don't quite fit on the shelves. But in the overall scheme of things, we've been very happy with this purchase.
My Wine Never tasted this GOOD! August 31, 2007 Scott Miyamoto (Seattle, WA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My Vinotemp unit runs quiet, stays at the correct temperature, and keeps my whites COLD! I checked out other units at my local specialty shop before purchasing on-line to do a side by side comparison. While some units compared in quality and features none could beat VT's price. Thus far no complaints and I would highly recommend!
Ok Product- Terrible Customer Service August 24, 2007 Japchi (California) 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought my Vinotemp at The Great Indoor about a year ago and after about 3 weeks of use the fan blade broke. Since I had no use for the wine cellar I decided to wait and of course I forget about the fan blade so which was my fault. Long story short I decided to order the fan blade since I was selling my wine cellar. So I called the first time and told them yea I never used or call in for my warranty that's fine, I'll just pay for the fan blade. The girl told me that the cost of the fan blade was $54.95 with a $20.00 shipping. (Keep in mind this company is like 2 hours away) Okay, fine I decided to pay for it anyways since it was urgent. I asked her if there was a refund or exchange if the product is wrong she said no sorry no refund and no exchange, but if you exchange there is a 35% restocking fee?!?! Anyway, product arrives and of course wrong product gets sent. I call them and asked them what did they send me they said fan motor. I was like no I need the fan blade with the plastic. They were like well okay, but you said fan motor. I was like I did not say fan motor. Then I was like okay fan blade then how much is it. They said $15.95. I said okay fine send me an invoice. When I get the invoice it said $34.95. Of course I did not sign back the invoice and then I get a call from their customer service asking why did I not fax back and I told them that u quoted me differently and I want the original price. Customer service said, my manager said no and that's the price. I will never buy another product from this company again.
5 Years & Still Running Great July 3, 2007 Gordon Harms (San Jose, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've had my Vinotemp for 5 years now and it's worked flawlessly. I've read some other reviews that said the compressor was noisy or that it didn't stay at the set temperature. All I can say is that I have had absolutely no problems, it runs so quietly that I don't even know when it's on, and it stays fairly close to the temperature that I set it. I use a separate temp gauge to monitor the temp. and it stays within 2-3 degrees after I get it set correctly (large temp swings within the house such as hot 100F summer days will cause it to swing as well, but I feel that's to be expected). I'm selling my house and I like my Vinotemp so much that I'm buying another for my new house. After reading some of the reviews here that reported issues with their Vinotemp I felt compelled to write a review to report the good luck that I've had with mine. On top of that it's a great value compared to other models out there selling for $800 to $1400.
