Reasonably powerful, reasonably quiet, reasonably priced, reasonably compact. But I wouldn't recommend putting it on the same desk you're working at - it's a little too powerful, even on the low setting.

For the money, this is a fine product and works as advertised. I use it to blow air on the interior of my windows, when the outside tempurature is 20 degrees or lower, to prevent condensation and freezing on the inside glass. This preserves the wood finish around the windows. The fan is working fine for this, but it is not used constantly.

This fan did not work well from the first minute I took it out of the box. The motor would constantly slow down to almost a stop, then start up again. The mechanism for holding the blades was weak and the fan shook and vibrated constantly.
