Product Description Countertop Microwave Oven
Amazon.com Review For convenience cooking and thawing frozen foods fast, microwave ovens can't be beat. This midsized model from Sanyo provides the maximum power output--1,000 watts--for reheating leftovers or cooking a frozen dinner in a snap. The oven has a capacity of .9 cubic feet and a 12-3/8-inch glass turntable that's large enough to fit a dinner plate full of food. The controls include six "quick keys" with preprogrammed cooking times for heating some of the most popular foods with the touch of a button. This oven also gives the option of defrosting by a food's weight or by amount of time. Cooking time is easy to monitor on the oven's two-color digital display. A perfect accent for a contemporary kitchen, this microwave has a stainless-steel front and interior with a black cabinet. It's dimensions are 20 inches wide by 12 inches high by 16-11/16 inches deep. --Cristina Vaamonde

Stopped working after 1yr September 30, 2007 S. Ward (Brewster, NY United States) The top half of the option panel stopped working after 1yr of very light use. 2 stars because it still looks nice as a large clock.

SANYO = JUNK November 5, 2006 John Casey 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Bought this micro in Jan., 2006 and by Oct. 2006 was having big time problems. This microwave oven is a fire hazard! The one I bought started arcing, like an arc welder, between the door and the body of the microwave. Sanyo's, "NO Custumer Service", was anything but helpful! Don't buy any Sanyo products since they are junk and they will not stand behind their product!

Ok product, doens't give me too many supprise, too much noisy almost made to return it. However, it is just fit into my kichen and it is stainless steel, maybe I shouldn't expect more.

I like the stainless steel look of the microwave, a little larger than your typical dorm microwaves so make sure you have room for it and a stable surface (I use a $12 Ikea cofee table and it's perfect). Only problem is this Micro makes a racket! It's got loud beeping and a loud power ON noise when the microwave is zapping your food on high. Overall, it doesn't look flimsy and I didn't have to worry about carrying it home, it was delivered for free!!
