Cup at a time:
This unique Tassimo machine produces one 11-oz. cup of delicious hot beverage at a time, brewing right into your mug. The entire process takes about a minute, and there is no wait time before brewing your next beverage. The large, removable water reservoir holds 68 ounces so there is no need to refill after every cup, and it includes a removable water filter for the freshest taste every time.
T-Discs:
It uses the exclusive Tassimo Discs, or T-Discs, to make espresso, filter coffee, cafT crema, tea, hot chocolate, and milk-based latte and cappuccino without the need for a complicated steam wand or frothing attachment. The T-Discs feature some of the world+s most celebrated brands, and each sealed T-Disc contains a precisely measured amount of coffee, tea, chocolate, or concentrated milk to consistently produce the best-tasting beverage. I don't waste my time or money going to Starbuck's anymore,even when one of the franchise stores is only three blocks away. The 1400 has, over the last two years, saved my husband and I hundreds of dollars in morning coffee thanks to the 12 ounce Morning Blend coffee disk. One drawback we've discovered, however,and something that all owners need to be aware of, is that in the past year our machine has literally thrown our mugs off the draining platform onto the countertop spilling hot coffee all over the place. What a mess to clean up! Thsnkfully, no one was burned, but we would recommend that you not leave this unit unattended.

I got this to replace my Keurig that died. I love the coffee and the fact that they have milk cups for it. My only complaint is it needs constant clean up, especially after making a latte or some drink other than plain coffee. The Keurig rarely needed anything. And that dribble cup is not cool. If you take it out to make a travel cup or large cup, you better have a dishrag or paper towel handy. After I ordered this I found out about the Bosch tassimo. I wish I would have ordered that one so I highly suggest you check that out before you make your decision.

We have had our system for 2 years, it's still in perfect shape, never had a problem, and makes great coffee. I have no complaints about this system and I would buy it again if I had to.

I brought the machine for a family tryout and we all love the machine. Not even one complaint. From the youngest to the eldest we all found it was easy to use and it's so very fabulous!!! Oh I guess I should mention the flavors are savory. My favorite is Seattle's best. What an awsome start for my day!

I got the Tassimo two years ago as a wedding present. Not much of a cofee drinker but I will make myself a cup every once in awhile. The great thing is that you can buy so many different varieties of hot beverages and everyone is happy. No more brewing a cup of Decaf for one person and regular for the next. It takes about a minute per brew and everyone is happy. The pod fills about half a cup so you should plan on using two pods per person. I really like the hot choclate and the espresso. We have never had a mechanical problem and it is super easy to clean up.
