Handcrafted entirely from bamboo, this traditional Chinese steamer not only looks charming but cooks in a healthy manner without the need of fats. The lid is handsomely woven in a basket style, while the two tiers feature slats across the bottom to let steam rise from a pan of boiling water below. Measuring 12 inches across, the steamer holds generous quantities of potstickers, dim sum, vegetables, and fish, using both tiers together or just one at a time. And, because the steamer retains heat well, it makes a great serving container. Give it a quick scrub after cooking, and it's good to go.
