Awful Can Opener August 5, 2008 E. Hopkins (NC) If I could give this "0" stars, I would. I needed a can opener quick and bought this one from K-Mart. It was the only one they had. My husband and I both fuss at it everytime we have to use it. As soon as I can replace it, it will go in the trash.
worked for a while March 30, 2008 M. JOHNSON (GA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The can opener worked fine for about a year, then would not open cans without babying it and holding the can just right. I don't like to purchase can openers annually so I do not recommend this item.
This thing is great! July 8, 2007 R. Moody I saw the one bad review this can opener had and was skeptical about buying it, but it was on-sale so I figured what the heck. I have not been disappointed. We use this thing daily for normal things, but for tall cans like tall dog food cans its a must!
Awful May 18, 2007 Thomas Reynolds (Potomac, MD United States) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I own this can opener. My wife simply can't get it to open cans. I can get it to work if I bend way down and keep working the action while watching to try and eventually succeed in catching the rim of the can. It then typically shreds some of the paper near the lid and at that point works just fine in cutting the lid off. We are pulling an old manual can opener out of the junk drawer to open cans until we buy a replacement. Whoever designed this out to be fired.
